Recently, 10 people, including Jiang and Gao, from Yuhuan, Taizhou, together with Yang and Gao from Anhui, used the remote control to control the weight of the weighbridge station to cheat when buying and selling raw copper powder. After nearly two months of hard investigation, the Road and Bridge Police cracked more than 20 cases at one fell swoop.

In 2017, the victim, Mr. Liang, and the suspect, Mr. Jiang, Mr. Yang, and Mr. Gao, had bought and sold copper powder twice. When weighing, Mr. Liang always felt that copper powder was missing. On November 25, Liang kept an eye on the third transaction with the suspect. After weighing, he found that more than a ton of copper powder was missing, so he immediately reported the case.

Jiang Linning, Group 3, Criminal Crime Investigation Center, Road and Bridge Branch, Taizhou Public Security Bureau, said, "Since our squadron received the police on November 25, 2017, we began to investigate. After receiving the police, there was only one case, and the evidence was still weak. After our squadron went to Yuhuan and Jiaojiang for many times, we excavated many cases."

The police tracked the driving track of the suspect's vehicle, starting from Jiaojiang to Luqiao, Wenling, Yuhuan and other places. The suspect had purchased copper powder in the place where raw materials such as copper materials were produced. After stripping the cocoon, the police found that there were 10 suspect who took turns to do the crime. Every time when they weighed in the weighing station, the suspect used the remote control to weigh, control the weight of the vehicle, defraud in the form of missing weight and less tons, and then buy high and sell low for profit

Jiang Linning, the third team of the Criminal Crime Investigation Center, Road and Bridge Branch of Taizhou Public Security Bureau, said, "The remote control is used to control the value on the display screen of the weighbridge station, and then the remote control is used to change the value on the display screen. The largest one we have ever had so far can defraud about 1.8 tons of copper powder. According to the market price, the copper powder is about 3.5 million tons, and a fraud can reach 60000 yuan."

So far, the Road and Bridge Police have solved more than 20 cases in Yuhuan, Road and Bridge, Jiaojiang and other places, and captured 10 joint venture partners in this case, involving about 700000 yuan. At present, ten suspect have been detained by the Road and Bridge Police on suspicion of fraud.

At present, copper and other industrial raw materials are expensive in the market, and the purchase of mineral raw materials is calculated by tons. For this reason, the police also remind the operators to weigh in the weighbridge station when buying and selling raw materials to prevent criminals from using the weighing platform to operate and defraud.
